Richard E. Meyers is a Senior Managing Director with oversight responsibility for Bernstein's Central Region. He joined Bernstein in 2001 as a financial advisor. He was named a Principal and director in 2005, and in 2006 he was appointed managing director of the Chicago office. He assumed his current duties in 2013. Prior to joining the firm, Rick was a strategy consultant with Marakon Associates, and before that, an investment officer with The Northern Trust Company. Rick earned a BA, cum laude, in psychology from Hamilton College and an MBA from the Kellogg Graduate School of Management at Northwestern University. Rick has been a member of the Windy City Chapter of the Young Presidents' Organization since 2008 and is active in the Boys & Girls Clubs of Chicago, serving on the corporate board as chairman of the investment committee and as a member of the executive committee.
