Retirement Planning

Investment Solutions

AllianceBernstein offers an impressive array of asset-class-specific, style-specific and multi-asset solutions. These portfolios serve the diverse needs of investors with Individual Retirement Accounts (IRAs) and variable annuities (VAs) as well as defined contribution (DC) plan sponsors.

Asset Allocation/Multi-Asset

Our funds include Retirement Strategies*, a series of target-date funds designed to adjust to changing investing needs over time—while appealing to people with very different investing attitudes. There’s also Wealth Strategies, diversified funds designed to satisfy specific risk-return balances. With our mutual funds, investors can also access diversified real-asset exposure and a multi-asset approach to emerging markets.

*Each fund is named for a “target date”—the approximate year when you expect to retire and start withdrawing from your account. Funds furthest from their target dates emphasize growth potential by allocating retirement investments almost entirely to equities. As investors move closer to—and into—retirement, the funds automatically adjust to a more conservative asset mix. Investments in Retirement Strategies are not guaranteed against loss of principal: at any time, your account value can be more or less than the original amount contributed—including at the time of the fund’s target date. Also, investing in Retirement Strategies does not guarantee sufficient income in retirement.

US Equity

We offer a variety of US equity portfolios that invest in domestic equity markets. These include style-specific portfolios that focus on growth and value, style-blend portfolios that combine the two styles into one, and core equity and specialty equity portfolios.

International/Global Equity

For those seeking to broaden their horizons with exposure to international or global equity markets, we offer a similarly diverse group of portfolios that includes both growth and value investing styles, style-blend funds, core funds and specialty equity funds.

Fixed Income

Our fixed income investment options serve a variety of investor needs, from stability to core and high income. To take advantage of fixed-income opportunities that are present in different market segments at different times, the portfolios are diversified across fixed-income sectors, and some are diversified globally.

Money Market

For investors seeking to maximize current income while maintaining the safety and liquidity of their principal, money-market funds invest in low-risk securities. The funds typically have less risk than other fund types, and pay dividends that generally reflect short-term interest rates.

An investment in a Money Market Fund is not insured or guaranteed by the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation or any other government agency. Although the Fund seeks to preserve the value of your investment at $1.00 per share, it is possible to lose money by investing in the Fund.
