Vidya Rajappa is a Senior Vice President and Senior Research Analyst on the Defined Contribution Research and Investment Design team, focusing on original defined contribution research, enhancing client investment solutions and designing analytical tools and processes for performance monitoring and servicing. In her previous role as the director of quantitative research in Global Analytics, she was responsible for the design and support of coherent analytics, globally, across product groups and asset classes. Prior to joining AB in 2001, she worked at J.P. Morgan Asset Management as manager of their Quantitative Analytics Group, focusing on fixed-income research. Rajappa had previously helped design and develop an equity trading system and related analytics while at J.P. Morgan. She holds a BE in electronics and telecommunications engineering from PSG College of Technology in India and an MS in statistics and operations research from New York University.
