Nella Domenici was appointed a Director of AB in January 2020 and joined the Board of Directors of Cognizant (NASDAQ: CTSH), a multinational information technology services and consulting company, in February 2023. During 2020 and 2021, she was Chief Financial Officer and member of the Executive Committee at Dataminr, a leading high-growth AI company. Previously, from 2015 to 2018, Domenici served as CFO and a member of the Operating Committee at Bridgewater Associates, one of the largest hedge funds in the world. In that role, her responsibilities included financial planning and analysis, revenue management, corporate finance, strategic initiatives, and technology investment. From 2012 to 2015, Domenici was a strategic advisor to Bridgewater’s Management Committee and led the evolution of the organizational structure for the firm’s senior leadership. Prior to that, she held senior strategic positions with various companies, including Citadel Investment Group (2004–2005), Credit Suisse (1998–2004) and Monitor Group (1996–1998). Domenici is a dedicated advocate and champion in the areas of education, healthcare and economic development. In addition, Domenici is a proven entrepreneur, having founded a successful consulting firm that advised many family-owned, private equity, venture-backed and real estate companies. She serves on the board of Regis High School and is the founder of Excellent Schools New Mexico, a nonprofit that supports charter schools in underserved communities. Domenici previously served on the board of One World Surgery, which provides access to quality surgical care globally, and has been involved in major national efforts to support research and legislation related to mental illness. Additionally, she serves on the board of the International Folk Art Market, which focuses on economic opportunities for folk artists worldwide, particularly women in developing countries. Domenici brings to the board her seasoned business acumen and extensive global experience in strategic financial management, corporate strategy and operations. She holds an undergraduate degree from Georgetown University, a JD from Georgetown Law and an MBA (with high distinction) from Harvard Business School, where she was a George F. Baker Scholar.
