Ramon de Oliveira was appointed independent Chairman of the Board of AllianceBernstein (AB) on April 1, 2019. He also serves as Chairman of the Board of Equitable Holdings and as Managing Director of the consulting firm Investment Audit Practice. From 2017 to 2019, de Oliveira served as an independent director on AB’s Board of Directors. Prior to that, he held several executive positions at J.P. Morgan & Co. over the course of a 24-year tenure, including five years as the chairman and CEO of J.P. Morgan Investment Management and the Private Bank. He was also a member of that firm’s Management Committee since its inception in 1995. De Oliveira brings to AB’s Board the extensive buy-side and sell-side financial-services experience he developed through his executive leadership roles at J.P. Morgan and Investment Audit Practice.
