Liliana Castillo Dearth

Liliana Castillo Dearth is a portfolio manager for AB’s Emerging Consumer and International Discovery Equity portfolios. From 2007 to 2011, she managed the Ibero American Fund. Dearth joined the firm in 1999 as a research analyst covering telecom and media companies in Latin America and as sector head of the global emerging markets telecom sector. Prior to that, she spent two years as a research analyst at HSBC Asset Management, where she covered retail, telecom and media companies in Latin America. In addition, Dearth worked as an analyst at Metroeconomica for two years before beginning her graduate studies. She holds a BS in economics from Universidad de Carabobo in Venezuela and an MBA in finance and economics from Massachusetts Institute of Technology. Location: Singapore.
