Shri Singhvi is Chief Investment Officer of Strategic Equities, an all-cap, all-style US core portfolio for AB private wealth–management clients. Prior to his current role, he was a portfolio manager for US Small and Mid Cap Value Equities. Singhvi started his career at AB as a research analyst on the Small and Mid Cap Value team, responsible for covering financial and technology companies. Before joining the firm in 2008, he was an engagement manager for McKinsey & Company, where he consulted on strategy for technology, media and telecom companies and investment due diligence for hedge funds and private equity clients. Prior to that, Singhvi spent more than five years in Silicon Valley working as a senior R&D engineer at Applied Materials and as a software solutions architect at i2 Technologies. He holds a BTech in chemical engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology, Bombay; an MS in chemical engineering from Purdue University; and an MBA from the University of Chicago.
