Mark R. Manley is Senior Vice President, Global Head of Compliance and General Counsel. He joined the firm in 1984. Manley chairs AB's Internal Compliance Controls Committee and is a member of AB's Code of Ethics Oversight Committee and nearly all of the firm's senior operating, risk and compliance committees. He was AB's chief compliance officer from 1988 until 2021. Manley holds a BA in criminal justice from St. John's University and a JD from New York Law School. He was admitted to the bar in the state of New York in 1990.
