Serving Our Communities

Giving back to our communities is a great way to take our shared values of teamwork and collaboration beyond our walls to serve the communities where we work and live. We make it a priority to give employees the opportunity to work side by side to help those who need it most by organizing regular volunteer service days throughout our global offices, as well as through our matching-donation program.

AB employees volunteered to help throw a superhero-themed carnival at the Children's Hospital at Montefiore for its Pediatric Cancer Awareness Day.
AB's West Palm Beach office partnered with the local parks and recreation department to clean up the waterfront.
Employees from the Houston office volunteered with the Houston Food Bank, supporting the Kids Cafe program and Hurricane Harvey relief program.

Promoting Employee Resource Groups

We provide an opportunity for employees from traditionally underrepresented groups and their allies to gather and share information and experiences. Members of our employee resource groups (ERGs) support each other's professional development and well-being as they come together to host events and participate in community outreach.

The Black Employee Resource Group (BERG) and AB Veterans ERG, in collaboration with AXA, hosted a discussion with the surviving members of the Tuskegee Airmen, the first African-American aviators to serve in the US Army Air Corps during World War II.
The AB Asians ERG sponsored lion dancers and guest speakers to celebrate Lunar New Year.
In celebration of Pride Month, the AB OUT ERG hosted guest speaker Geena Rocero, who shared her incredible journey as a transgender woman of color who immigrated to the US at a young age. She brought a message of why it's so important to live your truth.
