Responsible Investing:
Our Commitment

Better Behaviour Is a Strategic Imperative

Behaving responsibly is more than just a buzzword. It’s a way of life, that defines how we at AB behave, both as a firm and as investors. And since it’s a strategic imperative, we continue to invest in Responsible Investing, as it’s inextricably linked with corporate responsibility.

Every day, AB employees are working to create a dynamic, diverse, inclusive and intellectually challenging environment. By bringing out the best in our people, we aim to help advance the many communities we serve.

Principles for Responsible Investment

AB has invested responsibly for many years. In 2011, we honed and formalized our approach by signing the United Nations Principles for Responsible Investment (PRI). The six PRI are voluntary and aspirational, offering possible actions for incorporating ESG issues into investment analysis, decisions and practices.

Principles were developed by investors, for investors. In implementing them, signatories contribute to developing a more sustainable global financial system. We’re committed to implementing all six principles as we continue to advance our responsible investing efforts.
