A Personal Commitment to Client Success

Our Private Client Financial Advisors are dedicated to understanding their clients’ specific needs and guiding them as they make strategic investment decisions to meet those needs. As one of our trusted Financial Advisors, you will partner closely with a client’s other professional advisors, such as tax attorneys and accountants, to plan for transferring wealth, charitable giving and a wide variety of business agreements. As an Advisor, you are the conduit for bringing our best thinking to our clients.

We seek seasoned professionals with more than 10 years of experience and a proven track record of building successful, trusted relationships with clients and third parties. Financial experience is not required, and many of our most successful Advisors have come from other fields, including accounting, law, consulting, pharmaceuticals and commercial real estate.

We continually hone the knowledge and skills of our Financial Advisors. As a successful candidate, you will first complete an intensive training program that introduces you to our unique approach and that has proven successful for more than four decades. As you begin working with clients, you will be supported by a dedicated and knowledgeable team that will partner with you to support your clients and their needs.

    Steven Rapkin

    Vice President, Senior Programmer/Analyst

    Fixed Income Quantitative Information Technology

A typical day for me includes meeting with our internal clients to discuss what they need from IT in order to improve the investment process or try out new investment ideas, then planning and writing software to address their issues.

I like applying analytical and quantitative thinking to turn big problems into smaller ones, which are then easier to solve—like solving a puzzle.

  • AllianceBernstein Senior Vice President - Andrew
    Andrew Chin

Senior Vice President, Chief Risk Officer and Head of Quantitative Research

    Risk Management and Quantitative Research

As a risk manager, I ensure that risks are managed appropriately across the organization. My day typically includes identifying, assessing, monitoring and mitigating risks in our investment portfolios and in our operational processes.

  • AllianceBernstein Vice President - Evan
    Evan Alexander List

    Vice President, Client Advisor

Bernstein Global Wealth Management (Private Client)

As a Client Advisor, a typical day for me revolves around new business development, client service and management, referral source development, and networking. The most rewarding part of my job is working closely with families, not-for-profit organizations, small businesses and others to help them meet their unique wealth goals.

Sometimes that means sitting around a kitchen table running various scenarios for how to pay for college or going out of my way to visit a client to give them peace of mind and confidence in the work we’re doing together. Working with my clients, understanding my clients and building trust with my clients are what make my job so great.

    Product Management

As a Marketing Manager, a typical day for me includes partnering with various individuals and groups within the firm to plan and execute integrated marketing campaigns that promote our firm’s products, services and thought leadership.

This role allows me the opportunity to build collaborative relationships with colleagues in various departments when developing strategic marketing campaigns. Vice President, Fixed Income Credit Analyst

    Fixed Income Private Placements

As a Fixed Income Credit Analyst, a typical day for me involves tracking current financial/economic news and trends and evaluating their impact on the portfolio of investments that I’m responsible for monitoring. It also involves analyzing new investment opportunities and interacting with portfolio managers and traders as well as outside brokers and company management teams to make recommendations to buy or sell corporate bonds.

As an Analyst in the Private Placements Group, I like the access and interaction I have with senior management at the companies we invest in, as it helps provide me with company-specific and industry information that is useful in my analyses and that might not otherwise be available.

    Fixed Income

As a Senior Portfolio Manager within the fixed income team, there is no typical day! I split my time between investment team meetings in the New York office and traveling to see our clients to update them on our fixed income strategies and performance.

As a Senior Portfolio Manager I like that my job combines the complexity and intellectual rigor of the fixed income markets with the satisfaction of working closely with our clients to develop investment solutions that meet their needs.
