Walt Czaicki, CFA, Senior Investment Strategist—Equities, Walt Czaicki serves as a Senior Vice President and Senior Investment Strategist for Equities at AB. He rejoined the firm in 2015 and has been in the investment-management industry since 1986. Czaicki’s roles have ranged from a fundamental equity research analyst and portfolio manager to chief investment officer. Prior to rejoining AB, he worked on the buy side for a Regions Financial predecessor organization, as well as at Commerce Trust Company and Bank of America. Czaicki holds a BSBA in finance and an MBA, both from Saint Louis University. He is a CFA charterholder. Location: Dallas

Ben Ruegsegger, CFA

Ben Ruegsegger, CFA, Portfolio Manager—Sustainable US Thematic; Senior Research Analyst—Sustainable Thematic Equities, Benjamin Ruegsegger is a Portfolio Manager on the Sustainable US Thematic Strategy and a Senior Research Analyst on the Sustainable Thematic Equities Portfolios. He joined the firm in 2001 in an operations role and in 2006 moved to equity research as an analyst covering the financials and consumer-discretionary sectors for the US Mid Cap Growth team. Since 2008, Ruegsegger has supported the Sustainable Thematic Equities Portfolios, covering various sectors in the market, most recently technology. In 2017, he was named Portfolio Manager of the Sustainable US Thematic Strategy. Ruegsegger holds a BA in economics and finance from Eastern University and is a CFA charterholder.
