Alexander Barenboym is a Portfolio Manager and researcher in the Dynamic Asset Allocation (DAA) Group, where he focuses on portfolio construction, management of DAA-based asset-allocation products, and quantitative research and modeling of fixed-income instruments and derivatives. Prior to joining AB in 2008, he worked for NISA Investment Advisors, where he designed and managed derivative-based liability-driven investment programs and asset protection strategies for large US-based pension funds. Prior to completing his MBA in finance at the University of Pennsylvania’s Wharton School, Barenboym designed high-performance trading and analytical systems for several leading investment-management firms. In addition to an MBA, he holds a BS in computer science from Washington University and an MS in applied mathematics from New York University’s Courant Institute. Location: New York
