Vlad Byalik is a Portfolio Manager for Emerging Markets Value since 2021 and Frontier Emerging Markets since 2014. He is also a Senior Research Analyst on the Emerging Markets Equites team, focused on the ASEAN region. Byalik joined the firm in 2004 as a research analyst. Over the years, he has covered a broad set of industries across frontier and emerging markets. Byalik is a founding member of AB’s frontier markets strategy. Previously, he was a manager at Marakon Associates, a strategy and management consultancy. Byalik started his career as a business analyst at A.T. Kearney. He holds a BA in economics from Wesleyan University and an MBA from the Wharton School of Business at the University of Pennsylvania. Location: New York
