Emma Potter is AB’s Director of Community Engagement and Belonging, where she manages the firm’s inclusion program and community engagement initiatives across EMEA. Prior to joining AB in 2024, Potter worked at financial services firm Ruffer as workplace director, where she led the business estate operations and the firm’s Diversity and Inclusion program. As Ruffer’s chair of the employee resource group Potter led external D&I engagement, implementing community partnerships and initiatives. She was made a partner at Ruffer in 2010. In 2016, Potter was appointed a board director for the Victoria Business Improvement District, chairing the Inclusive Economy steering group funding local community engagement projects. Previously, she was an English tutor for The Access Project and a mentor for the Mission Gender Equity program supporting the 30% Club, the world’s largest global cross-company mentoring program. Potter is a member of AB’s EMEA Leadership Council and a Mental Health First Aider. In 2025, she was a mentor for Girls Are Investors (GAIN), winning their 2025 Mentor of the Year award. Potter also mentors for IntoUniversity and internally at AB. Location: London
