Liang Zhu is Chief Investment Officer for AB’s onshore China Equities business, a role he has held since 2018. Previously, he served as a senior quantitative analyst for Emerging Markets Equities. Before he joined the firm in 2006, Zhu was a senior portfolio analyst at Everbright Pramerica Fund Management Company and a portfolio manager at Tiantong Asset Management Company in China. Prior to moving back to Asia, he was a senior associate in investment research at Mellon Capital Management from 2000 to 2002. Zhu earned a BS in mathematics from Peking University in 1997 and an MA in economics from the University of Pittsburgh in 1999. He is a CFA charterholder. Location: Shanghai
